Welcome to the site for our new business venture: Chez Craft, based in Chezzetcook, Nova Scotia, Canada. Chez Craft will be an artisan craft company producing fine woodworking, and fibre art products with a focus on custom and one-of-a-kind projects, reclaimed materials and designs created in collaboration with clients and/or other artisans. It will be operated by partners Mary Elizabeth O’Toole and Stephen Parsons. While Mary Elizabeth will likely take on most of the writing duties here, Stephen will write semi-regular posts. And as we become more established, we look to have guest presenters – and to participate in other sites and circles.
More of our story will follow in the coming days as we prepare to launch. In the next few months, we will be populating an ETSY store, designing and preparing inventory, and working on a variety of one-of-a-kind pieces.
This is where we will tell the story of our adventure but also where we will document our design and development processes, follow the progress of projects, share our experience with new knowledge and skills, and pass on resources that we have found to be inspiring, informative or entertaining. We hope you will join us on our adventure.
