Our grinder's body model we call "smak" – which is Norwegian for tasteful. The pepper grinder and salt grinder are identical in design but are built from different woods, the lighter being maple while the darker grinder is in black walnut. Either can be used for salt or pepper, but the set makes it possible to distinguish the spice by color.
